Wearing the correct attire in dance classes promotes; a sense of belonging, confidence, it's practical and safe which eliminates distractions.
We all know the saying “dress for the job you want.” The same principle applies to dance. When our students come ready and prepared in their dance uniforms, it helps instil in them the idea that they aren’t just taking dance classes, but that they themselves are dancers.
Our students are more focused and engaged on with their dancing.
It also has the added benefit of making clothing decisions before class. So, that’s one less thing you have to think about when you’re bringing your child to the dance studio.
By getting all of our students dressed in dance uniforms, they feel like they belong to a team,
The last thing you want as a dancer is for loose or ill-fitting clothing to cause distractions and, in the worst cases, potential safety issues. Focus is key to great dance, and our dance classes are always aiming to help the students achieve great dancing and have fun. Getting rid of distractions helps keep our students focused and engaged while also helping everyone reach their dancing potential.
At RW dance we ask that students wear RW dance uniform with our logo:
Ballet & Tap classes: leotard and tights in the correct colour for their level
Acro & Lyrical: Sublimated leggings and crop/vest tops or Navy leggings and crop/vest/t-shirts
Street dance & Stage School: Sublimated leggings and crop/vest tops or Navy leggings and crop/vest/t-shirts or grey jogging bottoms with RW dance t-shirts.
If you are not sure what to wear please see our uniform list below:
